Three types of file
There are three types of file here. You can choose:
- NAM.7z, the file for those of you with 7-zip and who don't want a .exe. If you download this file, you will need to select "Save As…", otherwise it will probably crash your browser (tech note: my server sends it as
text/plain).
- NAM.exe, file, a NSIS installer. It is an exact mirror of the version at SimTropolis, except extracted from the useless zipfile.
- NAM.zip file for those of you who don't have 7-zip. It's "supposed" to be for Mac, but it will work on Windows. Don't download this one unless you absolutely have no other option. If you don't have 7-zip yet, get it. It'll save you lots of time in the future.

…I recommend that you read my documentation. While by no means as complete as that in the NAM itself, it will be helpful during installation.
